OUR PHILOSOPHY

Love and Squalor NYC is dedicated to making beautiful handmade dog coats using designer vintage clothing and accessories. In doing so each dog coat we create is fabulously unique and only available in limited editions and sizes.

Our coats and apparel are designed for medium to extra small dogs.  If you would like to have a coat made specially for your “big” dog (20 lbs.+) please contact our design team at loveandsqualornyc.com.

Your best friend’s comfort comes first!  Our goal at Love and Squalor is to make sure your dog’s “coat” is not only fashionable — but functional — keeping your pet warm and protected from the harsh winter elements all season long.

Quality

All of our coats are constructed with repurposed designer vintage clothing and accessories. We also use 100% pure cotton, raw silk, and english wool to line and layer each carefully crafted coat.

Integrity

We take pride in providing you and your pet with a product that is made with love and integrity. All of our clothing is designed and constructed out of our studio in NYC then hand cut, stitched, fitted and sized to meet the needs and standards of our clients.
